Assessment answers
The gap assessment processes your answers in this browser. Its code does not send the organisation name, answers, evidence references, actions or exported reports to a server. Answers begin in page memory. Selecting “Remember on this device” stores them in local browser storage on that device; disabling it or clearing the review removes that stored copy. Downloaded files remain in the location you choose.
Templates and DPIA screening records
The working documents and DPIA screen also keep entries in page memory. They do not automatically save entries to the device or send them to a server. Save a JSON working copy to reopen it in the matching tool; exported HTML and text records remain on your device. The tool warns when leaving with unsaved changes, where the browser supports that warning.
Use references, not personal records
Use short operational references such as “Retention policy v2”. Do not enter patient details, employee allegations, client files, privileged material, passwords or access tokens. Other people using the device or a downloaded file may be able to see its contents.
Cookies and similar technologies
This publication adds no advertising tags, analytics trackers or third-party fonts. Google Analytics is not active in this edition. The optional assessment storage exists only when you request it. The hosting service may use essential technologies and technical logs to deliver and protect the website; these are separate from your working records.
Hosting and technical information
This public edition is hosted by Hostinger. Loading a page involves technical connection information such as the IP address, requested URL and browser details. The hosting service may process this information to deliver, secure and operate the website. See Hostinger’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab) for its explanation of personal-data handling. The assessment, DPIA screening and editable-template code does not send your entries to the hosting service.
Downloads, links and complaints
Opening a third-party source takes you to that provider’s service. Its privacy practices apply there. The publication offers no mailing-list form or submission form. To raise a privacy concern with the publication owner, use the owner contact route; for concerns about Hostinger’s hosting services, use the provider’s privacy and support routes.
Your rights
Where a controller processes information about you, rights may include access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, depending on the conditions. You may complain to the ICO. Browser-only records can be removed using the assessment’s clear control or your browser’s site-data settings.
